CSU Webmail Login
To login CSU Webmail you will need Charles Sturt University username and password so you first get it from Charles Sturt University and login CSU Webmail using below steps.
- First open this webpage link website link.
- Enter your username and password.
- Tick on ‘Remember Me’ option.
- Click on the ‘Sign in’ button.
Change or Reset CSU Webmail Account Password
It is important to protect and keep your student account secure by changing your password every 120 days. When changing your password for the first time, it is recommended that you save a security question and answer for quick identification purposes.
PhD students must change their password every 120 days to continue access to staff IT services.
Do not disclose your password to anyone. If you suspect someone has guessed your password or has watched as you typed it – you should change it immediately.
Note: Passwords can only be changed up to twice a day.
Go to Changing My Password or Forgotten Password to make the change. You’ll receive email notifications confirming your successful password change and use of the password change facility.
The new password should be active immediately.
Your new password must be different from your previous six passwords and must not include your university username.
It must also meet the following criteria:
- Use a minimum of 8 and maximum of 30 characters – do not include any spaces
- Use at least 3 of the 4 following character types: lowercase (a-z), uppercase (A-Z), numeric (0-9), supported special characters (~ ! # $ % ^ * – _ = + [ ] \ : , . / ?).
If you attempt to create a password that does not meet the above criteria, you will receive an error message and must set a different password.
Your password will also be checked against a list of known compromised passwords. You will not be able to use a password that is on this list.
Add CSU Mail to Windows 10 Mail Application
- Click or tap on start, then scroll down to Mail, or click or tap on Mail if it appears on the right.
- Click on the Gear settings icon on the lower left of the Mail application then Manage.
- Tap Accounts on the Upper right of the Mail application.
- Tap on ‘Add Account’ at the bottom.
- Click or tap on Office 365.
- Enter your CSU email account, it will be your student code @mesc.vic.edu.au, in the field.
- Then click or tap on Next.
- Click on work or school account near the bottom.
- Click or tap on Continue.
- Enter your CSU Password in the field, the email address should carry over from the previous steps.
- Last click on the Sign in button.
- After a minute or so, you will be presented with the All Finished screen, click on Done on the lower right.
- Your emails will now start to download on your device, you will also receive notifications when you receive an email.
Set up Education Department CSU email on iPad or iPhone
Below is a step by step walkthrough of adding your CSU email to your iPhone or iPad device. This
process enables you to sync your email, calendar and contacts to your phone.
- In ‘Settings’ tap:
- Accounts
- Tap:
- Add Account
- Microsoft Exchange

- In the ‘Email’ field enter your login for Office
- Enter a description for this account in the
‘Description’ field.

Tap ‘Sign In’
- Next you should see a login page with a CSU
logo prompting you to ‘Enter Password’. Enter
your password and tap ‘Sign In’.
If you see a Password prompt without the CSU
logo you may have entered an incorrect login ID
in the ‘Email’ field. Tap ‘Cancel’ and try again.

Information Services & Technology - The next screen allows you to choose what items you would like to be
synced to your iOS device. Make your selections and tap ‘Save’.

How to Add CSU Mail (Webmail) to Android Device?
- Tap Settings > Accounts > Add account > Exchange.
- Select Manual Setup.
- Select Exchange.
- Type your full email address, for example csu.viking@csuohio.edu (for
staff) or csu.viking@vikes.csuohio.edu (for students), and your password,
and then select Next. - Enter the following account information, and then select Next.
o Domain\Username Type your CSU ID in this box, for example, for
example 1234567@csuohio.edu (for staff) or
1234567@vikes.csuohio.edu (for students).
o If Domain and Username are separate text boxes in your version of
Android, leave the Domain box empty and type your CSU ID in the
Username box.
o Password Use the password that you use to access your account.
o Exchange Server Use the address of your Exchange server. The
server for engage365 is outlook.office365.com. - As soon as your phone verifies the server settings, the Account Options
page displays. Select the options for how you want to receive your mail, and
then select Next. - If you see an Activate device administrator? page, select Activate.
- Type a name for this account and the name you want displayed when you
send e-mail to others. - Select Done to complete the email setup and start using your account
