What is Impulse Webmail?
Impulse Webmail’s is a email and collaboration solution, powered by Zimbra, offers feature-rich web-based email, calendar, and contact solutions. It is a truly modern, innovative messaging and collaboration application. You can access business email, contacts, and calendars from anywhere there’s an Internet connection, on any device.
Impulse Webmail Login
To login to Impulse Webmail you will need a Impulse username and password so you can get it first and login to Impulse Webmail by following the steps given below.
- First open this webpage link webmail.impulse.net.
- Enter your email account address and password in the field.
- You can tick on ‘Show Password’ option or Stay signed in.
- Then click on the ‘Login‘ button.
Setup Impulse Webmail on Microsoft Outlook 2007
These guide provide you have opened Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 before and are changing settings in an email account that has already been configured in the program.
If you are setting up a new account, follow the steps in the account creation wizard which should run automatically upon running the program for the very first time.
Setup on Microsoft Outlook 2007
- Click Tools and then select Account Settings from the menu.
- Click the Change button or double-click on your Impulse email account from the list of mail accounts.
- Enter your Microsoft 2007 IMAP mail server details below:
– Select imap.impulse.net in the text field next to Incoming mail server.
– Select smtp.impulse.net in the text field next to Outgoing mail server (SMTP) or smtp.fix.net if you have a fix.net address.
– Enter your full email address as the Username. Your Username must include impulse.net or fix.net if your address is at fix.net.
– Enter your Impulse email password into the Password field.
– Ensure that the checkbox for Require logon using Secure Password Authentication is not checked. - Enter your Outlook 2007 POP mail server details below:
– Select pop3.impulse.net in the text field next to Incoming mail server.
– Select smtp.impulse.net in the text field next to Outgoing mail server (SMTP) or smtp.fix.net if you have a fix.net address.
– Enter your full email address as the Username. Your Username must include impulse.net or fix.net if your address is at fix.net.
– Enter your Impulse email password into the Password field.
– Ensure that the checkbox for Require logon using Secure Password Authentication is not checked. - Click the button for More Settings in the lower right corner of the window.
- Click on the tab for Outgoing Server to bring it to the foreground.
- Check the box for My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and leave the radio button on the Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Click OK and close out of any remaining open windows, your email program should now be configured with the best possible settings for the Impulse mail system.
How to Setup Impulse Webmail on Windows Mail?
These guide provide you have opened Microsoft Outlook Express before or, as it is now called in Windows Vista, Windows Mail, and are changing settings in an email account that has already been configured in the program.
If you are setting up a new account, follow the steps in the New Account Wizard.
Setup on Windows Mail
- Click Tools and then select Accounts from the menu.
- Click Properties or double-click on your Impulse email account from the list of mail accounts.
- Enter your Windows Mail IMAP server details below:
– Click the Servers tab to bring it to the foreground.
– Select imap.impulse.net in the text field next to Incoming mail.
– Select smtp.impulse.net in the text field next to Outgoing mail (SMTP) or smtp.fix.net if you have a fix.net address.
– Enter your full email address as the E-mail username. Your E-mail username must include impulse.net or fix.net if your address is at fix.net.
– Enter your Impulse email password into the Password field.
– Ensure that the checkbox for Logon using Secure Password Authentication is not checked. - Enter your Windows Mail POP server details below:
– Click the Servers tab to bring it to the foreground.
– Select imap.impulse.net in the text field next to Incoming mail.
– Select smtp.impulse.net in the text field next to Outgoing mail (SMTP) or smtp.fix.net if you have a fix.net address.
– Enter your full email address as the E-mail username. Your E-mail username must include impulse.net or fix.net if your address is at fix.net.
– Enter your Impulse email password into the Password field.
– Ensure that the checkbox for Logon using Secure Password Authentication is not checked. - Below Outgoing Mail Server, check the box for My server requires authentication and then click on the Settings button.
- Ensure that the radio button is checked next to Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Click OK and close out of any remaining open windows, your email program should now be configured with the best possible settings for the Impulse mail system.
Configure Impulse Webmail on Apple Mail
These guide provide you have opened Apple’s Mail application before and are changing settings in an email account that has already been configured in the program.
If you are setting up a new account, Apple should already be walking you through the initial setup process.
Setup on Apple Mail
- From the Mail menu, select Preferences.
- Click on Accounts at the top of the preferences window.
- Your Impulse email account should be displayed in the Accounts list on the left, select it if it is not already highlighted.
- Enter your IMAP mac mail server details below:
– Enter your full email address in the text field for E-mail Address.
– For the Incoming Mail Server, specify imap.impulse.net.
– Enter your full email address as the User Name. Your Username must include impulse.net or fix.net if your address is at fix.net.
– Enter your password into the Password field. - Enter your POP mac mail server details below:
– Enter your full email address in the text field for E-mail Address.
– For the Incoming Mail Server, specify pop3.impulse.net.
– Enter your full email address as the User Name. Your Username must include impulse.net or fix.net if your address is at fix.net.
– Enter your password into the Password field. - From the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) pop-up menu, select Edit Server List Older versions of Apple Mail will have a Server Settings button in this area.
- With the Impulse mail server selected in the list, click on Advanced. You should already have an Impulse mail server in the list of available servers.
- If your Internet service is not provided by Impulse Internet Services, your ISP’s outgoing mail server will also work here and, in some cases, may be a better choice:
– Enter 587 for the Server port.
– From the pop-up menu next to Authentication, select Password.
– Enter your full email address as the User Name. Your Username must include impulse.net or fix.net if your address is at fix.net.
– Enter your password into the Password field. - Impulse Webmail has been configured on your Apple Mail.
Configure Impulse Webmail on Mozilla Thunderbird
These guide provide you have opened Mozilla Thunderbird before and are changing settings in an email account that has already been configured in the program.
If you are setting up a new account, follow the steps in the Account Creation Wizard.
Setup on Mozilla Thunderbird
- To begin, click Tools and then select Account Settings.
- In the left-hand column click on Server Settings listed under your email address.
- In the text field next to Server Name enter imap.impulse.net.
- Enter your full email address in the text field next to User Name.
- Any settings in the Server Settings section of this screen are optional and up to the end user to configure.
- Click on Outgoing Server, which should be in the bottom of the list in the left-hand column.
- Select Edit or double-click on the default outgoing mail server, which should have displayed next to it.
- The first text field labeled Description is optional and simply that, a description which can have any text in it.
- Possible descriptions may be Impulse Outgoing Email Server or smtp.impulse.net.
- Enter smtp.impulse.net as the Server Name.
- If your Internet service is not provided by Impulse Internet Services, your ISP’s outgoing mail server will also work here and, in some cases, may be a better choice.
- Enter 587 as the Port. If using port 25 works for you there should be reason to change the value in this box.
- Under the Security and Authentication section, check the box for the User name and password.
- Enter your full email address as the User Name.
- Click OK and close out of any remaining open windows, your email program should now be configured with the best possible settings for the Impulse mail system.
