- Host / Server: secure.emailsrvr.com
- Port: 993
POP server settings
- Protocol (using SSL): POP3 (incoming server)
- Host / Server: secure.emailsrvr.com
- Port: 995
SMTP server settings
- Protocol (using SSL): SMTP (outgoing server)
- Host / Server: secure.emailsrvr.com
- Port: 465, 587, or 8025
Please make sure to use your whole email address as username.
How to use another email system with domain at Jimdo?
Your domain is hosted on Jimdo, but you use another provider’s email system instead? You just need to enter MX records from your provider on your Jimdo.
Entering the MX records
- Log in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired.
- Click Edit to enter the edit mode of your Jimdo Creator website.
- In the menu, go to Domains & Email > Domains.
- Click on the domain that you want to connect.
- Under the Current Email Server section, click the drop-down menu to select the provider.
- Choose Custom MX records from this menu.
- Enter the MX records in the field Hostname.
- Click on Save.
Setup Jimdo Webmail on iPhone/iPad Devices
You have already set up your email account in Mail, but are unable to send any emails? This might be due to the entered outgoing server. Here’s how you can check this setting:
- On your iPhone/iPad, go to Settings and then to Mail.
- Under Accounts choose your domain account, for example ‘youremail@your-domain.any’.
- Here, click on Account again and then under Outgoing mail server choose SMTP server.
- Where it says Primary server, enter your login details for the outgoing mail server.
– Email Address: Enter the email address as the username
– Password: Enter the corresponding Password - Enter the following under outgoing server:
– Hostname: secure.emailsrvr.com
– Use SSL: SSL
– Authentification: Password
– Port: 465, 587, or 8025
Your iPhone or iPad should now be able to send emails without any problems.
Change the language of Jimdo Webmail account
The default language for Jimdo Webmail is English. But don’t worry, you can your favaurite change the language at any time. Your follow these steps:
- Log in to your Jimdo Webmail account.
- Click in the top right hand corner on the three lines and then on Settings.
- Go to General Settings.
- Language & Date / Time in Jimdo, select your preferred language from the dropdown menu.
- Adjust the time and date to your preferred time zone.
- Click Save.
Your webmail account will then reload, so the change will happen immediately.
How to Create an auto-reply for Jimdo Webmail email account ?
Auto-reply function allows you to automatically reply to every Jimdo email you receive. Here’s how it works:
- Log in to your Jimdo Webmail account.
- In the upper right corner, click on the three lines to go to Settings.
- Go to Incoming Email.
- In the tab Auto-Reply set the status to On.
- Enter an Auto-reply message make sure that your text has no special characters in it.
- If your auto to-reply only needs to be sent within a certain timeframe, then check the box for ‘Enable only during the following period’ and then enter one start and end date.
- Click Save.
Please note that auto-reply takes about 20 minutes to activate.
Create or Add a signature for Jimdo email account ?
You can create email signatures directly through your Jimdo Webmail account. Just follow these steps:
- Log in to your Jimdo Webmail account.
- In the top right hand corner click on the three lines and then go to Settings.
- Choose Composing Email.
- In the tab Signatures, click on the button Add new signature.
- Give your new signature a name, for example, ‘Private’ or ‘Business’.
- Enter the signature and the text the way you like it.
- Click OK.
- To activate the signature, click Check and select where you want to add your signature.
- Click Save.
The name of your signature will now be shown at the bottom of the email window in a drop down menu. Select the signature you want to use to automatically add it when you send it.
How to turn on the spam filter for Jimdo email ?
Turn on the spam filter in your Jimdo email account to make sure that only the emails you want end up in your inbox and any spam is filtered out.

- Login to your Jimdo Webmail account.
- Click in the top right hand corner on the three lines and then Settings.
- Go to Spam Settings and then on the Preferences tab.
- Turn the spam filter On.
- Choose what should be done with spam messages.
- Click Save.
How to create a safelist for Jimdo Webmail account ?
With safelist you can be sure that emails from certain email addresses will always reach you and will not be sorted into the spam folder of the Jimdo webmail account.
Creating a Safelist
- Log in to your Jimdo Webmail account.
- In the top right hand corner click on the three lines and then on Settings.
- Go to Spam settings and click on the Safelist tab.
- Here you can enter all the domains, email addresses, and IP addresses that you want to receive emails from in your safelist.
- Click Save.
Create a blocklist for Jimdo Webmail account
If you are receiving spam or unwanted emails from a certain address, you can add this address to the blocklist of your Jimdo Webmail.
Setting up a blocklist
- Log in to your Jimdo Webmail account.
- In the top right hand corner, click on the three lines and then on Settings.
- Go to Spam Settings and click on the tab Blocklist.
- Enter domains, email addresses, and IP addresses that you no longer wish to receive emails in your blocklist.
- Click Save.
How to restore deleted emails in Jimdo Webmail account ?
If you’ve accidentally moved emails to your trash can and then emptied it, you can recover these emails within 14 days. Follow these step-guide.
- Log in to your Jimdo Webmail account.
- Right click on the folder Trash.
- Choose the option Recover deleted emails.
- From the list, select the emails that you want to recover.
- Then click on the button Recover to folder.
- Choose the folder that the emails should be recovered to.
The recovery will begin automatically once you’ve chosen a folder to move the emails to. As soon as all of the emails have been recovered, you’ll see the notification Messages recovered.
