What is Netregistry Webmail?
Netregistry Webmail allows you to access your email accounts through a web browser such as Firefox, Internet Explorer or Chrome. The main advantage of checking your email through a web browser is that there is no need to install or configure any email software on your computer. It also means you can check your emails on any computer, laptop or smart phone you use around the world.
Netregistry Cloud Webmail login
To directly access webmail on Cloud Hosting:
- First Click this link to visit the webmail log in page.
- Type in your log in your details.
- Last click ‘[Login]’ button.
If your domain points to the Cloud name servers you can visit webmail.your-domain.com.au and enter in your email address and email password. Alternatively, if your domain name is not delegated to our name servers you can use webmail.netregistry.net to access your webmail .
Lastly, to access Cloud webmail from within your console account, follow the below steps:
- Log in the Console (If you’re not sure how to do that, click this webpage).
- Manage the domain you want to make changes to.
- On the next page, look for Email, if your domain has a product that supports redirection there will be a Domain Redirector menu option beneath it.
- Under the Active email accounts title find your relevant mailbox.
- And then select [Log in] option.
cPanel Webmail
To access webmail on cPanel hosting, follow the below steps:
- Log into your cPanel.
- Click the Email Accounts icon.
- Locate the email address you want to access.
- Lastly to the far right of the mailbox click on [More] then select Access Webmail.
- If your domain points to cPanel name servers you can visit link and enter in your email address and email password.
- You can use the cPanel webmail url or port number to access it.
How to Update email password on Netregistry Webmail?
For your security reasons, customers are not able to see their current email passwords. However, they can update their email password from the console and cPanel interface. Below is a guide on how to update your email address password.
Update the Cloud hosting email address password
- Log in to your console (if you are not sure how to do it, click here and find out).
- Manage the domain you want to edit.
- Click Email in the left column or select the Create New Email icon.
- Click the password you want to change.
- Type a new password in the New Password field and click the Update Password option.
Update cPanel Hosting Email Address Password
Updating the email password on the cPanel environment is done not through the console but through the cPanel interface.
- Log in to the console (if you are not sure how to do it, click here).
- Manage the domain you want to edit.
- Click your cPanel Hosting.
- Once you have a cPanel Once logged in, under Email Headings, and click Email Accounts.
- Click the password and find the email address you want to change the password for the authentication option.
- Type the new password in the fields provided, and click Change Password.
How to Netregistry Email software settings?
Before you can configure your email software to send and receive emails from the servers settings , you must below guideline.
- First Register a your domain name.
- Purchase a cPanel, Cloud or Office 365 hosting subscription service
- Create an email account in Office 365 or Create an email on the cPanel or Cloud hosting servers.
Once you have done this, you can set your email software to connect to the email account you created on the servers settings.
All email software and devices, such as Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird, connect to our email servers using the exact same settings. This guide is for users who are familiar with how to use their email software and simply want to know what settings they should be using to connect to the servers settings.
Netregistry email server settings
- Username: enter the username, users must enter their complete email address exe, johnmathai@yourdomain.com.
- Password: enter their password, users must enter the password they selected when creating the email account on the servers settings.
- Incoming Mail Server: If connecting via SSL, see the SSL certificate on shared email service support page for assistance. Note that some Office 365 packages support POP only.
- Cloud Servers settings
– POP: pop.yourdomain.com
– IMAP: imap.yourdomain.com
cPanel Servers settings
– POP/IMAP: mail.yourdomain.com - Office 365 Server settings
– POP/IMAP: outlook.office365.com - Incoming Server Port: The email servers use all the default incoming server port numbers.
POP:
– Non SSL= 110
– SSL = 995
IMAP:
– Non SSL= 143
– SSL = 993 - Outgoing Mail Server: Where asked for the outgoing mail server, users must enter smtp.yourdomain.com. Customers using our cPanel email services may alternatively use mail.yourdomain.com. If connecting via SSL, see our SSL certificate on shared email service support page for assistance.
- Cloud Server
– SMTP: smtp.yourdomain.com - cPanel Server
– SMTP: mail.yourdomain.com - Office 365 Server
– SMTP: smtp.office365.com - Outgoing Server Port: Most Internet Service Providers (ISP) block port 25 for their own outgoing emails. We recommend using port 587 or if connecting via SSL, 465
– Non SSL = 587
– SSL = 465 - Authentication Type: Users must use password authentication to send or receive emails from our servers your Password

Setup Email on Outlook 2013/2016
Before you can configure email software to send and receive emails from on the servers settings, you must
- Purchase a cPanel or Cloud hosting subscription service.
- Create an email account on the cPanel or Cloud hosting servers.
- Ensure you have your incoming, outgoing, username and password details ready to go.
- Once you have done this, you can configure your email software to connect to the email account you created on the servers.
- As a courtesy to the customers, they provide online tutorials on how to configure various email software.

Setup an email account
- First Open Microsoft Outlook 2013/2016.
- And click on ‘File’ option.
- Click Information from the left side menu.
- Click on the ‘Account Settings’ option.
- Select the Account Settings option from the drop down.
- Under the Email tab, and click New option.
- If you’re making changes to an existing account, under the Email tab you will see a list of email accounts that exist within Outlook 2013/2016, double click on the email account you wish to make changes to.
- Select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types radio option then click Next button.
- Select the POP or IMAP option and click Next button.
Cloud subscriptions only:
- Complete the following information.
– Your Name: The name you wish displayed when people receive your emails.
– Email Address: The email address you are sending email from.
– Account Type: Select POP3 or IMAP from the drop down.
– Incoming mail server POP: pop.example.com.au
– IMAP: imap.example.com.au where example.com.au is your domain name.
– Outgoing mail server: smtp.example.com.au where example.com.au is your domain name or you can enter your Internet Service Provider’s (ISP) outgoing mail server.
– User Name: Your full email address. eg. johnmathai@example.com.au.
– Password: The password used for this email account. - It is up to the end user to decide if they want to create a new Outlook
- Data File or not, this choice does not affect the connection to the servers settings.
- Click More Settings option.
cPanel subscriptions only:
- Complete the following information.
– Your Name: The name you wish displayed when people receive your emails.
– Email Address: The email address you are sending email from.
– Account Type: Select POP3 or IMAP from the drop down.
– Incoming mail server: mail.example.com.au where example.com.au is your domain name.
– Outgoing mail server: mail.example.com.au where example.com.au is your domain name or you can enter your Internet Service Provider’s (ISP) outgoing mail server.
– User Name: Your full email address. eg. johnmathai@example.com.au
– Password: The password used for this email account. - It is up to the end user to decide if they want to create a new Outlook
- Data File or not, this choice does not affect the connection to the servers settings.
- Click More Settings option.
- Enter the Outgoing Server tab.
- Select My outgoing mail sever (SMTP) requires authentication and Use same settings as incoming mail server.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Users can choose whether to use SSL or not, both are support on the servers.
Without SSL Encryption:
- This server requires an encrypted Connection (SSL) = Unselected.
- POP: Non SSL= 110
- IMAP: Non SSL= 143
- Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) number to 587. Use the following type of encrypted connection = None.
- Click OK button.
- Click Next button and then Finish option.
- This completes the setup of your email account in Outlook 2013/2016.
Select the Advanced tab. - Users can choose whether to use SSL or not, both are support on the servers.
With SSL Encryption
- This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) = Selected.
- POP: SSL= 995
- IMAP: SSL= 993
- Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) number to 465.
- Use the following type of encrypted connection = SSL.
- Click OK button.
- Click Next button and then Finish option.
- This completes the setup of your email account in Outlook 2013/2016.

Set up an email account on the iPhone/iPad
- From the home screen of your iPhone/iPad, and press the Settings Icon.
- Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars option.
- Under the Accounts section select Add Account option.
- On the Add Account page select Other option.
- Under the Mail section, and select Add Mail Account button.
- On the New Account screen, and complete the following details:
– Your Name: The name to be displayed when sending email
– Address: Your email address, e.g. johnsmith@example.au.com
– Password: The password used for this email account.
– Description: Any text description - And click ‘Save’ button.
- The device may attempt to automatically retrieve the server settings. If it fails, continue following the steps below to configure your iPhone/iPad manually.
- The servers support both POP and IMAP.
- Below to complete enter information.
- Incoming Mail Server settings:
– Host Name: pop.example.com or imap.example.com. Where example.com is your domain name.
– Username: Your full email address, eg. johnmathaih@example.com
– Password: The password to your email address - Outgoing Mail Server settings:
– Host Name: smtp.example.com
– Username: Your full email address, eg. johnsmith@example.com
– Password: The password to your email address. - Scroll back to the top of the screen and press ‘Save’ button.
- Your device will now attempt to verify all the settings you’ve entered and you wait this work.
- You may be given a warning that your device cannot connect via SSL or that it cannot be verified
- The reason this warning comes up is because your device may be attempting to connect to our shared mail server via an SSL connection using your domain name rather than the name which the SSL certificate belongs to.
- If this warning comes up, you may simply press continue button.
- The iPhone/iPad is known for automatically using some default settings which may cause you some problems.
- Continue with the steps below to ensure that the settings on your device are manually set correctly.
Modify the Email Settings on your iPhone/iPad
- From the home screen of your iPhone/iPad, press the Settings Icon.
- Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- The email account you just created will be displayed in the Accounts section.
- Select the email account you just created.
- Scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server section and press SMTP.
- If only using your email services with us on your device, your primary server should be smtp.example.com.au.
- Select this SMTP server to configure it further.
- Modify the following information if not already completed:
– SSL: Off.
– Authentication: Password.
– Server Port: 587. - If wanting to use SSL, set SSL to be on and the server port to be 465.
- Press Done button.
- To modify your incoming mail server settings, go back to the mail email account page and press Advanced rather than SMTP
- Modify the following information if not already completed:
– SSL: Off.
– Authentication: Password.
– Server Port: 110. - If wanting to use SSL, set SSL to be on and the server port to be 995.
- From this screen, you may also allow your device to delete emails off of the servers when it downloads them or set them to delete after a set period of time.
- You’re now complete. Test by sending an email to the account.
How to Setup an email account on the Android Devices?
- First From the home screen of your Android phone, and press the Email icon to open the application.
- On the Set up Email screen, and complete the following details:
– Email address: in this example, they will use johnmathai@example.com.au, but you will need to enter your own email address, in full.
– Password: this is the email password you have set for your email account. - Click Next button.
- Your device might attempt to automatically retrieve the server settings.
- If it fails, continue using the steps below to configure your Android device manually.
- The servers settings support both POP and IMAP.
- Select IMAP or POP from the mail account types, depending on your preference.
- For this tutorial we will be setting up a POP account, but the IMAP set up is very similar and will request the same information.
- Click POP3 Account option.
- Complete the following information:
– Username: enter your full email address.
– Password: choose your email password.
– POP3 Server: pop.example.com.au (replace example.com.au with your domain name) - Click Next button.
- On the Outgoing Server settings page, fill in the following information:
– SMTP Server: ‘SMTP.example.com.au’ (replace example.com.au with your domain name).
– Username: enter your email address, in full
– Password: choose your email password - Click Next button.
- On the Account Options page, you can edit some of the basic options to suit your needs, including how often you want your emails to download from the server and whether or not you want a notification each time you receive an email.
- On the last page of your Android email set up, you can give your account a name and edit the name that appears on your outgoing messages.
- Click ‘Done’ button to be taken to your inbox.
