The Royal Children’s Hospital Webmail ‘Sign up’
You will need a My RCH Portal activation code. You can ask you in your next hospital visit or ask us to send you a code at home.
The initial sign-up process involves three steps:
Step 1
- Identify one or more staff to be the site administrator for your practice or health service.
- This is sometimes a clerical or clinical staff member.
- A single business (not personal) email address must be used by the persons nominated to be the site administrator.
Step 2
- The nominated site administrator must ensure that details for all interested healthcare providers at your practice or health service are up-to-date on the National Health Services Directory (NHSD), including provider and professional registration numbers.
- Hospitals may be registered on the NHSD.
- An option is to create a ‘Department of Paediatrics’ under the existing hospital registration.
- You’ll get a confirmation email from the NHSD when records have been updated.
- When these details aren’t up-to-date at the NHSD, your registration with RCH Link will likely be significantly delayed.
Note: it may take 4-6 weeks to the NHSD to upgrade health service and provider records.
Should you have to check if your clinic or health service, and healthcare providers are already enrolled on the NHSD, send an email to: nhsd@healthdirect.org.au.
Step 3
- Website administrator to send an email to RCHLink enquiries@rch.org.au, confirming information for all interested health providers are enrolled or up-to-date on the NHSD.
- You will receive an email in the RCH administrator, Such as tip sheets:
– How to sign up to RCH Link
