What is SCEGGS Webmail?

In the Darlinghurst neighborhood of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, a single-sex, independent Anglican primary and secondary day and boarding school for girls is situated.

SCEGGS is a K–12 Anglican girls’ school that is not selective. The offer of a spot at the school is made without regard to any special requirements. Year 3, Year 7, and Kindergarten. You can ask any questions you may have about the application process, the availability of spots, or the School in general at the Registrar’s Office.

SCEGGS Webmail Login

For SCEGGS Webmail login you need to provide SCEGGS username and password, you can get it from SCEGGS first or create a username and password then you can login SCEGGS Webmail.

• First open this webpage link.
• Enter your Username and Password in the field.
• Click on the ‘LOGIN‘ button.

How to change your SCEGGS password?

Your new password will need to follow the password policy requirements:

• use at least 8 characters
• both upper and lower case letters
• include at least one number
• no previous passwords allowed
• don’t use common letter or number patterns (e.g. AAA, 123)

• don’t repeat characters more than once (e.g. AAA, 111)
• don’t use spaces.

Forgot SCEGGS Webmail Password

1. Navigate to portal login.

Select the Forgot your password link.

You can complete the following steps on a personal device such as your phone if you cannot log in to your department device.

Enter your user ID in the user ID field.

3. Select via Mobile.

4. Enter the last 4 digits of your personal mobile number.

5. Select Generate Code.

6. You will receive and SMS from the department, open the SMS and enter the 6 digit security code.

7. Select Validate Code.

8. Enter your new password in both password fields.

Your new password will need to follow the password policy requirements:

• minimum length is 8 characters
• use upper and lowercase letters
• include at least one number
• no previous passwords allowed
• don’t repeat characters more than once (e.g. AAA, 111)
• don’t use spaces
• special keyboard characters are allowed and encouraged except for double quotation marks, “ , which must never be used otherwise the password will fail.
• nulls/blanks are not allowed.

9. Select Return to login.

If you are working at school or a corporate office your new password will allow log in to the desktop within 5 minutes.

If you are school staff working at home, your new password won’t let you log in to your departmental device until you connect to Wi-Fi at a department site.

Configure SCEGGS Webmail on Android Mail

1. Locate your “Settings” Application. As shown below.
2. Navigate to “Accounts” in the menu bar at the top of the Screen, and then Select “Add Account” as shown below.
3. You will be required to select an Account Type, please select “Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync”. As shown below.

You will now be required to enter your Account Details in the next few steps.

4. Enter your full Email Address and Password and Select “Manual Setup” as shown below.
5. You will then be taken to the “Manual Setup” page, where you will be required to enter the information shown below.

Please ensure your settings replicate the above options select, with your Username entered where you see “Rpigram”.

6. A pop-up screen will now appear requesting “Activation”, please select “OK” as shown below.
7. You phone will now attempt to connect to the Oakhill Email Server. Indicated by the Window below.
8. You will then be required to provide “Remote Security Administration” indicated in the window below. You will be required to select “OK”.
9. You will then be required to provide “Device Administrator” permissions to your Email Application. Please click “Activate” as shown below.
10. You will then be taken to the “Account Options” window. Here you will be able to set your email to act as you wish. As shown below.

The ICT Department recommends not synchronising your contacts. This can be done by not ticking the “Sync Contacts” options shown above. Select “Next” once this is complete.

11. You will now be given the option to give your Email account a nickname. As shown below. Click done, once complete.
12. You will now be able to see your “Oakhill Mail” in your Email Application. As shown below.

Configure SCEGGS Webmail on iPhone Device

If you use an email provider such as iCloud, Google, Microsoft Exchange or Yahoo, Mail can automatically set up your email account with just your email address and password. Here’s how:

1. Go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts.
2. Tap Add Account, then select your email provider.
3. Enter your email address and password.
4. If you see Next appear, tap it and wait for Mail to verify your account.
5. If you see Save, tap Save.

How to Configure SCEGGS Email on Mac?

• You can easily configure your email accounts in Mac Mail. To check the settings, go to Site Tools > Email > Accounts:
• Choose the preferred email account and go to the kebab menu > Mail Configuration:
• Select the Autoconfigure tab and from the drop-down menu, choose the correct version for your Mac Mail:
• MacOS® Mail.app® for versions prior to Lion (10.4+)
  MacOS® Mail.app® for Lion (10.7+)
  iOS for iPhone/iPad/iPod and MacOS® Mail.app® for Mountain Lion (10.8+)

How to Configure SCEGGS Mail on Outlook Express?

• In Microsoft Outlook Express, from the Tools menu, select Accounts.
• Go to the Mail tab and from the Add menu, select Mail.
• In the Display Name field, enter you full name and click Next.
• In the E-mail address field, enter your email address and click Next.
• On the E-mail Server Names page, complete your information as follows:
  My incoming mail server is a
  POP3

Incoming mail (POP3) server
mail.yourdomainname.com.au

Outgoing mail (SMTP) server
mail.yourdomainame.com.au.

• Click Next.
• In the Account Name and Password fields, enter your email address (@ symbol in email address replaced with symbol in account name e.g. if the email address is john@coolexample.com.au, the account name will be john coolexample.com.au) and password, and then click Next.
• On the setup confirmation page, click Finish
• On the Mail tab, select the account you just created, and then click Properties.
• Go to the Servers tab.
  Select My server requires authentication, and then click Apply.
• (Optional) If you want to keep a copy of email messages stored on your email provider’s servers, in the Delivery section, select Leave a copy of messages on server.

Setup SCEGGS email account on Windows Mail

• IMAP
  • server: mail.wcg-mail.com
  • port: 993 (SSL encryption)
     
• SMTP
  • server: mail.wcg-mail.com
  • port 587 – encryption TLS
    

Add your email to Windows Mail

1. Open Windows Mail
2. Click Accounts
3. Click + Add account

4. Click Advanced setup

5. Click Internet email

6. Under Email address, type in your email address
7. Under User name, type in your email address again
8. Under Password, enter your password

If you have forgotten your password, click here to find it in your Webcentral account.

9. Under Account name, name this account (e.g. your email address or name)
10. Under Send your message using this name, type in whatever you want customers to see as the sender (e.g. your name or business)
11. Under Incoming email server, type in mail.wcg-mail.com
12. Under Account type, select the type of account you want to add

We recommend IMAP4 as this will sync all your devices together.

13. Under Outgoing (SMTP) email server, type in mail.wcg-mail.com
14. Leave all the options ticked
15. Click Sign in
