What is Telus Webmail?

TELUS Webmail allows you to handle your telus.net email from any computer, smartphone or tablet with Internet accessibility. Utilize TELUS Webmail by logging in with your username and password.

Log in to Webmail and locate your TELUS Webmail address in My Account:

First visit in to webmail.telus.net.
Enter your email/username and your valid password.
Last click on the ‘Select Continue’.

How To Create TELUS Email Address?

When you sign up for TELUS Internet, even if a broker asked you to make a username and password for the purpose of your TELUS email, then your TELUS.net email address Are the username you have selected + @telus. net.

Example:

Username: name.
Email address: name@telus.net.
Password: the password you chose at the time when you sign up.

Note: When you log into your webmail for the first time, you will be asked to change the password you chose at signup. If so, use this new password instead.

Access to How To User Account?

Go to www.webmail.telus.net to access Telus Webmail.
Input your username and password in the fields provided.
You are now logged in! You will now write or check for new messages.

Create Shaw Webmail and New Telus Webmail

Shaw Webmail

Open your Shaw webmail account.
Log in to your account.
Click on “Settings” – Select “Spam Filter”.
You have two of the following options. (Shaw email does not have the option of whitelisting individual email address):
– Disable Junk Email Filtering – Email messages will be delivered to your address
– Tag Suspecting Junk Email – The subject line of suspected Junk Email messages will begin with “[Shaw Suspected Junk Email]”

If you encounter any problems, contact www.telus.com/en/bc/support/contact-us.

Open and log into TELUS Webmail.
Select the email(s) you would like to report.
Click the Not Spam button over the email(s).
The message will be automatically reported as Not Spam.

How To Change TELUS Email Password?

Log in to webmail.telus.net.
Navigate to the Preferences tab.
Under General, you need to see the Sign in part.
Select Change your Password.
A new page appears.
You’ll have to enter your old password along with the new password.
Select Change password.

Tips for better security

Password must be 8 or more characters in length.
Special characters (= _ * ? # : { } [ ] , . ) are allowed.
Passwords must contain at least one number or special character and at least one alphabetic character.
Blank spaces are not allowed.
Passwords must include at least one upper case and lower case letter.
Passwords must not be one of the last 5 passwords that were used.

How To Reset Telus Webmail Password?

Go to your telus.net Webmail.
Select Forgot? and follow the step-by-step instructions.
Enter your TELUS email address.
In the event that you previously setup a recovery email method, a password reset link will be transmitted to you.
If you already set up a restoration mobile phone number, a passcode will be sent for a mobile phone.

Set up Email on Computer Window Live Mail?

Launch Windows Live Mail.
From the top taskbar, select Accounts.
Select Email. The Add your email accounts window appears.
Complete the required information as follows:
– Email address: Your TELUS.net email address. For example, john.doe@telus.net
– Password: Your TELUS.net email password
– Notice: If you’ve forgotten your telus.net email password, call us in 1-888-811-2323. Our agents will help you reset your password
– Check Remember this password
– Display name for your sent messages: The Title you would like recipients to receive
– Check Manually configure server settings
When you’re finished, select Next. The configure server settings screen is displayed.
Complete the required information as follows:

Incoming server information:
– Server type: Select IMAP
– Server address: imap.telus.net
– Port: 993
– Verify Requires: a secure connection (SSL) is checked
– Authenticate using: Clear text
– Logon user name: Your TELUS.net email username

Outgoing server information:
– Server address: smtp.telus.net
– Port: 465
– Verify that the Requires: a secure connection (SSL) box Isn’t checked
When you’re finished, select Next.
Select Finish.

Your TELUS.net email account is installed to be used with Windows Live Mail.

Setup Telus Email on Computer Outlook 2007

From your desktop, select Start.
Consignor the Start menu, select Microsoft Outlook Express.
From the top taskbar , and select Tools.
Select Account Settings.
From the E-mail tab, select New.
Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP.
Select Next. The Auto Account Setup is displayed.
Assess the Manually configure server configurations or other server types check box.
Select Next.
Choose Internet E-mail.
Select Next. The Internet E-mail Settings screen is displayed.
Type the following information:
– Your Name: The name Which Will be Shown to recipients of your Delivered email
– E-mail Address: Your telus.net email address
– Account Type: Select IMAP
– Incoming mail server: imap.telus.net
– Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.telus.net
– User Name: Your email account username
– Password: Your email account password
Select the Remember password check box.
Select More Settings.
Beneath the Outgoing server tab, be sure the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox is checked.
Beneath the Advanced tab affirm this server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) is checked and also the drop down menu Use the next type of encrypted link is SSL.
Incoming server should be set to port 993.
Outgoing server should be set to port 465.
Select OK.
Choose Next.
Select Finish.

Your telus.net email account is installed to be used with Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.

Log in to webmail.telus.net.
Hover your mouse over your name located in the top right corner.

How To Delete Messages in Email?

Log in to webmail.telus.net.
Right-click on Trash on the mail folders list.
Choose Empty trash.
If you deleted a message by error:
– Right-click on Junk on the Email folders list
– Then choose Recover deleted items
– Select the thing to Recuperate and click Recover to
– Choose the destination folder and select OK

How To Export Messages to Keep?

Log in to webmail.telus.net.
Select Preferences.
Choose Import / Export.
Select type “Account”.
Choose the source folder(s) you want to export.
Select Export.

This may export your information to a Tar-GZipped file type (compressed file) which can be enlarged to some other storage place.
