How to change your UWA password?
You can now reset your Pheme password or unlock your account by using Multi-factor Authentication (MFA).
The new service, known as Self Service Password Reset (SSPR), can be accessed via https://uwa.edu.au/resetpassword. Simply visit the website and follow the prompts.
Unlike using the Pheme website, SSPR allows you to unlock your account if it has been locked by a number of failed log in attempts.
If you have not set up MFA yet, you will not able to use this service. Please contact the IT Service Desk or visit the MFA support kiosk at the Reid Library if you need help setting up MFA.
Forgot UWA Webmail Password
If you can’t remember your password, you might be able to reset it using the ‘Forgotten my password’ option on the Pheme website under the ‘Students’ heading. To finish this process, you must be aware of the responses to your challenge questions.
You will need to get in touch with staff at any of the libraries for assistance if you’ve also forgotten the answers to your challenge questions, either in person or over the phone. The Contact Us page of the library includes a phone number.
By using multi-factor authentication, you might also be able to reset your password through a Self Service Password Reset (SSPR). You are not required to respond to challenge questions using this technique.
