What is Vodafone webmail?
Vodafone Webmail offers a new and innovative service that lets you stay up to date with all your messages. You can listen to voicemail messages and email messages etc. on your mobile or any landline phone.
All incoming emails are checked for spam and viruses. Emails from infected attachments and known spam sources will be blocked by the Vodafone mail service. Mail that appears to be from a legitimate source, but which appears to be spam, will be marked as spam before delivery.

Vodafone says: “What you need to do now
- Your email account with Vodafone will be closed on November 30, 2017.
- If you’re not using it, don’t worry, there’s nothing you need to do.
- Set up a new web based email account, like Gmail or Outlook.com, or any others of your choice (if you haven’t already).
- Set up your free auto-forwarding to your preferred email address by November 30th.
- Your old email messages and contacts will have to be moved to your new account. “

Vodafone Cost
There are no additional monthly costs for using Vodafone Mail. The simply pay for call charges when you access the service. Calling 242 or calling from your Vodafone mobile will be charged at your standard Voice Email rate for call return facility in case voicemail is currently free, a new differential will apply.
Access to your account via text messaging and WAP from the Internet will be charged at the current cost plan. Printing a fax is charged at existing voice call rates to the receiving fax machine.
Security
Infected attachments and email from known spam sources will be blocked by the Vodafone Mail service. Mail that appears to be from a legitimate source, but which appears to be spam, will be marked as spam before delivery.
Can use this Voafone service?
You need to be a Vodafone pay monthly or a pay as you go customer, either with Vodafone or a Vodafone service provider. They ordinarily resident in the hold a Vodafone account which is not in arrears. This service is not available to Vodafone customers who use Multi-SIM.
The Service is limited to specified price plans and you may not be able to register for this Service if you are on other price plans. Please also check the information at www.vodafone.com.au prior to registration and from time to time for further details on the technical and other requirements and limitations which apply to this Service.
Please note that:
- If you successfully register for this service, you will receive existing voice email messages. Please ensure that you have checked your messages before registering for this Service.
- if you delete a Message, it will be deleted from your Service and will not be accessible from any access device.
There are other reasons why your registration may not be successful. There may be a delay following registration before you can access your mailbox from a mobile device.
While some Internet accounts can be aggregated in Vodafone Mail, some Internet email accounts such as MSN and AOL are disabled.

This Steps if you can’t send an email
If you can’t send email over the vodafone network, you’ll be linked to the wrong APN settings on your device. You will need to check this tool to force the correct settings on your phone.
If you have a POP3 or IMAP email account set up on your phone and you can receive emails but not send them, see the following details with your email service provider:
- Check your email provider’s outgoing server address.
- Make sure your email provider’s outgoing mail server isn’t using port 25.
- Port 25 is only available for use with Vodafone’s outgoing mail server.
- If your email provider uses port 25, they recommend contacting them about using an alternative SMTP server port.
- Check your username.
- This may differ in format to your usual email address.
- Check your email provider offers an SSL encrypted server for off-net access.
- Enter these into your email settings.
– Use SSL: Yes / switch on
– Require authorisation: Yes / switch on
If your email provider doesn’t offer an SSL encrypted server for off-net access, you can use the Vodafone outgoing mail server.
Vodafone Outgoing mail server
When setting up Vodafone outgoing mail service, make sure Wi-Fi is turned off on your device. You need to connect to Vodafone network for settings to work.
You will not be able to send emails to the mail server when your phone is connected to another internet provider via WiFi. Recommend using your email provider’s outgoing mail if possible.

Setup and Configure Vodafone email on Android?
The internet connection is shared by many functions on your phone such as internet browsing, receiving email messages and installing apps. You can access the internet as soon as you’ve inserted your SIM. If this isn’t the case, you can set up your phone for internet manually.

How to download my Vodafone app?
My Vodafone is pre-installed on many of the phones. You can also download the app through the Google Play Store for Android devices and the App Store for iOS devices.
If you access the app from your mobile phone on the network, my Vodafone will load automatically without you needing to login.
Most of my Vodafone features are free-rated so when you access the app, you are in Australia and if you are using a Vodafone Australia SIM card in your device, the data will not be taken from your allowance.
How to access my Vodafone through a web browser or using Wi-Fi?
You can access My Vodafone through a web browser or using Wi-Fi by setting a password through the registration process and then logging in using your username and password.
When accessing the app over a Wi-Fi network, you can choose to use a fingerprint or Face ID. This will be the same fingerprint or face ID you set with your device. If your fingerprint or face authentication is not twice recognized, the app will ask for your username and password.
In addition to your password, you may also need your 4-digit account PIN to complete certain transactions or access information on multiple numbered accounts. You can also use fingerprint or face authentication instead of your account PIN. If your fingerprint or face authentication is not twice validated, the application will ask for your account PIN.
You can select of fingerprint or face authentication at any time through the My Vodafone app.
