Configure Xiaomi Webmail on Android Mail

Find and open the mail application on your Redmi, normally devices with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system come with the Gmail application installed.

The Gmail application may be included in a folder called “Google”, otherwise slide up from the home screen to access the list of applications on the Redmi, you will be able to find the Gmail application, it is the icon with a capital M. Click on the icon to continue.

At this point you can choose which email account you want to configure on your Xiaomi Redmi, a Google account, Outlook, Hotmail, Live, Yahoo, Exchange, Office 365 or an account with its own domain (for example a company account), if your case is the latter, choose “Other service”

In the case of Google, Outlook, Hotmail, Live, Yahoo, Exchange or Office 365 it is only necessary to enter the email account and the password, if you have your own domain or another mail service, write the email address you want to configure and click “Next”.

Select the type of account you want to configure in your Xiaomi Redmi, IMAP or POP.

Enter the password of the email account you want to set up on your Redmi.

Finally, you can give a name to this email account that we have just configured in the Redmi, the name of the account may be different from the email address. Type the name you want to appear on messages sent from this account.

Configure Xiaomi Webmail on iPhone Device

Follow these steps to setup your Exchange ActiveSync mailbox in Redmi’s Email app:

  • On your phone, find and launch the Email app. If this is your first time launching this app or there isn’t an account already setup, skip to Step 4.
  • Tap the Menu button, and select Settings.
  • Tap Add account add account icon.
  • On the Add an account screen, select the Exchange option.

How to Configure Xiaomi Email on Mac?

  • The first time you open Mail, you may be asked to add an account. Select an account type (such as Google for Gmail) or Other Mail Account, then enter your account information.
  • If you already added an email account, you can still add more. In Mail, choose Mail > Add Account, select an account type, then enter your account information. Make sure the Mail tick box is selected for the account.
  • If you’re using an account on your Mac with other apps, such as Contacts or Messages, you can also use that account with Mail. In Mail, choose Mail > Accounts to open Internet Accounts settings, then click Add Account on the right.

How to Configure Xiaomi Mail on Outlook Express?

  1. On your phone, find and launch the Mail app.
  2. If there isn’t an email account currently set up on the Mail app, you’ll see the Add an account screen. Else, tap the Menu button > Settings > Add account redmi email add account icon

  4. Setup Xiaomi email account on Windows Mail

  • Open Outlook for Android. The icon looks like this:

  • Enter your full email address, then tap Continue.
  • Enter your email account password and tap Sign In or Next.
  • Outlook may request permission to access your calendar, contacts, etc. Tap Yes or Allow.
